Who contacted the Canadians about NAFTA?????
This was a blog response from the NY Times. See link below. Anyone know of any verification of this?

I bet what Clinton won’t be repeating is the new story in the Canadian press that it was her campaign, not Obama’s who phoned the Prime Minister to say that she really didn’t mean what she said in the debate about the NAFTA do over. That is what Ian Brodie, PM Harper’s top aide told the Canadian press on Feb 26 that the Clinton campagin phoned. Then it was mysteriously changed to an Obama story. How did that happen? Could it have been Bill Clinton’s close ties to Canadian mining magnate Frank Giustra who got a lucrative uranium deal in Khazakstan with Bill’s assistance? What other people could have had that much influence on the Canadian government?
